House Hunting Just Got Easier with Augmented Reality

House hunting just got easy. Every HomeSpotter app features augmented reality technology that allows users to instantly view nearby properties by aiming their smartphone or tablet at a home or condo building.

What is augmented reality?
Augmented reality is a view of the real world environment whose elements are augmented by computer generated graphics.

How does it work?
Augmented reality couples with the GPS and compass on a smartphone or tablet, to overlay property information on a device’s live camera feed. As a user points their device towards a property or down the street, information on nearby homes for sale shows up.

When would I use augmented reality?
It’s a great tool for both agents and potential home buyers. Agents might use it to show their clients other properties for sale in the neighborhood, that aren’t on their showing plans for the day. It’s especially convenient in a condo building or town home development to see everything else available once you’re on site. In addition, beach and lake front properties can be viewed while enjoying a day on the boat, where they don’t have signs.
